I have an old mobile application that was using an early version of the GPS.NET framework. This old version contained a TimeoutOccurred event on the interpreter which was fired if the device was off or was turned off.
I am using a Bluetooth GPS device and it gets detected using the GPS Intermediate Driver. I wrote a little test program to display values from the GPS and its state. I registered for every event I could find, disconnect, connection lost etc and whenever
the device gets turned off, no events fire. If I move the device out of range, I will occasionally get a Disconnect event from the interpreter.
Does anybody know how to detect when the device gets switched off now that the timeout event has been removed?
